‘Light Paths’ is a series of felt landscape studies rooted in the experience of moving through woodland. Inspired by real places, the works are shaped by the changing relationship between light and shade, where glowing bluebells, layered greens and winding paths draw the eye deeper into the landscape. Through layers of fibres, fabrics and threads, each piece evokes the feeling of the woodland closing gently around you—enveloping and alive with shifting light. Each work begins with a moment that caught my attention—a shift in light, a glowing woodland floor, a path disappearing beneath the trees—and grows into a textile memory of being there.
