Sarah is a contemporary printmaker who loves experimenting with different printmaking techniques.

In this workshop she will share her years of experience so you gain an understanding of the  processes involved with a playful and relaxed approach.
Mono means creating a 'one - off'. 
You will have a go at creating Monotypes, this involves experimenting with direct mark making to create gestural and intuitive prints as well Monoprinting, creating prints from found objects, such as dried leaves, lace and textured paper.
There will also be the opportunity to use stencils, combine techniques, work in colour and build layers of texture.
At the end of the day each participant will have created their own series of colourful developmental, unique, original prints to take home.
Please bring along selection of items you would like to print from, such as dried flowers, textured paper, feathers, net curtain, ( a selection will be available)  also bring an apron,  something to take your prints home in and a notepad/pen in case you would like to take notes.
This workshop is suitable for anyone with an interest,  beginners or experienced printmakers wanting to try a new approach and develop creative ways of working.
