The opening of the grounds at Hopton Hall coincides with the Month of Art (2nd - 26th July Thursday to Sunday ) celebration where visitors can watch local artists at work, capturing inspiration from the grounds of the Hall. Visitors to the garden on the last weekend of July are invited to vote for their favourite artworks.
There is also the opportunity to view and purchase work created by individual artists and members of some of the region’s top art groups and societies who will be based within the gazebos throughout the month’s celebrations. These include:

Entering your artwork for the Month of Art competition
All entries must be delivered to the Hopton Hall Gallery Director at the Information Gazebo no later than 4pm on Wednesday 22nd July.
All artwork submitted into the Month of Art competition will be exhibited on the ground floor of Hopton Hall during the final weekend and included in the ‘Works’ section at the bottom of this page.
The following information must be clearly written and securely attached to the reverse of every artwork: Artist Name; Artwork Title; Signature and Date Location (State where the artwork is signed and dated (e.g. “Signed lower right”)); Medium - e.g. Oil, Watercolour, Acrylic, Mixed Media, Pencil; Artwork Dimensions - Height × Width (cm) Measure the artwork itself, excluding the frame; Frame Dimensions (if framed) - Height × Width (cm) Overall size including the frame; Email Address; and Telephone Number.

Voting for the Month of Art Winner
The winner is decided by a public vote. All artworks will be judged within a single category, with visitors voting for their favourite pieces on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th (10:30am - 4pm) and up until 2pm on Sunday, 26th July.
The winner will be announced at 3pm on Sunday, 26th July on the South Lawn.
1st prize: £1,000. 2nd and 3rd prizes of £250 and £100 respectively are in the form of vouchers for Turners Art Supplies.
