Kate Dawes is a mixed media artist known for her detailed botanical creations, inspired by her deep appreciation of the natural world. She combines her passion for nature with a love of teaching. She shares her expertise through botanical pen and watercolour workshops, collaborating with organisations such as the RHS, National Trust, Daylesford Organic, Bamford Collection, David Austin Roses, Dorothy Clive Gardens, and boutique hotels such as Wildhive Callow Hall and The Tawny. Kate also leads workshops for Wedgwood, drawing inspiration from their botanical archives. Her Pen Drawing for Well-being sessions, delivered through NHS Social Prescribing, promote mindfulness through art. She regularly hosts workshops across several counties and exhibits her work at gallery shows and regional art trails.
