Liz is a Derbyshire-based fine artist whose diverse practice explores themes of home, landscape and the domestic environment across digital, print and sculptural work.
Liz is a versatile and established fine artist with over three decades of professional practice. After completing a Fine Art degree at Loughborough University and postgraduate study, she returned to Derbyshire, where she has since worked extensively as an artist in residence, educator and maker.
Derbyshire remains central to Liz's practice, providing both subject matter and sustained inspiration. Her work explores themes of home, landscape and the domestic environment across digital drawing and painting, printmaking and sculpture. She is a member of the highly regarded Peak District Artisans and exhibits regularly with the group. Her work has been consistently selected for the Derbyshire Open Exhibition, where she has received several commendations and a Derbyshire County Council Award. Liz also exhibits annually at the Belper Arts Trail and participates in Derbyshire Open Arts open studios.
