Following on from their residency at the 2026 Snowdrop event the artists depict the famous Hopton Hall Snowdrop display.

An inviting winter exhibition at Hopton Hall Gallery of small-scale works across all media, ideal for seasonal collecting and gifting.

Lesley works in traditional watercolour, a medium that she finds exciting and challenging. Most of her working life has been art related, as Graphic Designer, Tutor, calligrapher and painter; she now concentrates on painting. She lived on the Isle of Skye for almost fourteen years and opened a studio there, running watercolour workshops for local people and visitors from UK and overseas. Her paintings have made their way to USA, Canada, Europe and Australia.

Her favourite subjects are the landscapes with which she is so familiar, places which evoke memories, areas of Skye and Lochalsh and Derbyshire. Flowers and glassware provide another source of inspiration, combining her love of flowers with complex shadow patterns.
